Being from one of the last generations to experience pre-teen life without the internet, movies and series were my main source of fashion inspiration. I specifically remember the scene in Pretty Woman when Julia Roberts transforms from 'hooker' into elegant and classy 'rich girl' after shopping on Rodeo Drive. She wore a button down, knee-length, cropped sleeved white dress paired with a black hat, high heels and white gloves.

While out shopping with my mum last week, I fell in love with this cropped sleeve, body contour dress at Woolworths. Thanks to my awesome and generous mum I now own it. I decided to use it to create my own rendition of that famous costume in Pretty Woman. The monochrome and prints are perfectly on trend for this season really contradicting the notion that Woolworths only caters for 'older' people who aren't interested in the latest trends.

I'm also thrilled to introduce the website's newest photographer  - Jaco Jansen Van Rensburg. His work speaks for itself so stayed tuned for more great photographs from him. We're in the process of upgrading our website so you'll also be able to see his and the other super talented photographers full bios very soon. In the mean time feel free to contact us for more information.
