IMG_0250IMG_0110One of the highlights of my trip to Aus was definitely the day trip to Blue Mountains with my wonderful hosts, Saroeuth and Jarko.

It’s a 2-hour drive from Sydney but you can also use the buses and trains to get there.

IMG_3292IMG_0243We first headed to Katoomba, the most popular tourist spot in the Blue Mountains, to check out the Three Sisters at Echo Point. We walked along the pathways for a bit before heading off to Leura.

IMG_3354At Leura Cascades, we walked to several of the waterfalls along the pathways.

In town, we stopped for lunch at The Hatters Café. Saroeuth and I ordered battered fish and chips while Jarko went for a healthier option of salmon risotto.

IMG_0221 IMG_0230 IMG_0225After lunch we purchased the Scenic World package that included:

A ride on the Scenic Skyway with its glass bottom floor across Jamison Valley
A trip on the Scenic Railway, the steepest railway incline in the world
A ride on the Scenic Cableway that goes into the rainforest of the Jamison valley.
